Happy Holidays
Guest writer: My favorite granddaughter.
The holidays are a time of cheer, and we all know the feeling of excitement when the holidays we love to celebrate roll around. We choose to forget any pain or sadness, and instead we remember all the joy in our lives.
It isn't about the items we buy, or the items we receive. The holidays are about how relationships grow stronger as we spend time with the ones we love. Along with this, we may also develop new relationships with people we haven't had the opportunity to meet before. There are so many wonderful parts to the holidays, and every one of them makes the celebration unique.
Now let's take a step back for a minute. As we’ve heard so many times, the holidays are a time of love and peace. But there are times in life when we grow apart from people. This is part of finding yourself, and with that comes losing some people, and discovering others that light your internal candle.
So during the holidays, remember that love is like a faucet, it turns off and on. If you have grown apart from someone you love, the holidays are a fabulous time to tell them that you will love them forever and always.
Happy holidays!
